Zed Towers Sheikh Zayed is a multi-use skyscraper located in the northwest area of Cairo, Egypt. The building stands at a height of 260m and opened in 2019 as one of the tallest buildings in Africa. It has 57 floors and features office, residential, and commercial space. Additionally, the complex includes retail outlets, restaurants, a 5-star hotel, and a public observation deck with views of Cairo.
The tower was designed by the local firm Hamza Associates. The modern architectural style of the building is based on traditional Islamic design principles, featuring its geometric patterns and pointed arches. The tower also includes several sustainable features, such as low-flow water fixtures, high-efficiency heating systems, and energy-efficient lighting.
The complex is located near other major development projects such as The Grand Egyptian Museum, the New Administrative Capital, and the Suez Canal Business Park. Zed Towers Sheikh Zayed is part of a larger development plan for the Sheikh Zayed area, which aims to create an iconic business district for the city.
