Zed Towers Sheikh Zayed is a skyscraper in Cairo, Egypt. It is the first international landmark structure to be constructed in the city and is situated on the Banks of the River Nile, in Sheikh Zayed City. The building was designed by Mouaz Abouzaid of AGi Architects. It stands at an impressive height of 115 meters and has 33 floors.
The building was conceived to be a celebratory landmark to showcase the country’s modernized economy and cultural heritage. It also resembles a design element of the seven-pillar emirates in the United Arab Emirates. It houses offices, restaurants, retail shops, and five star hotels.
The Zed Towers Sheikh Zayed has been hailed for its unique and creative design, combining traditional Middle Eastern influences with modern architecture. It features a gleaming exterior and a large central tower with intricate latticework, stone arches, and a geodesic dome. Features include a multi-level lobby, a signature suspended roof garden, and a 360-degree panoramic view of the city from the observation deck.
