Zahya New Mansoura is a city located in the Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. It was established in 2005 to accommodate the growing population of Mansoura City, which has resulted from both migration and natural growth. The city is located approximately 20 kilometers west of the Nile and is bordered by the historic city of Tanta, Al-Galaa, and El-Koudia.
The city is home to an estimated 200,000 citizens and is served by two important highways, the Cairo-Alexandria Desert and the Cairo-Mansoura Desert roads. Additionally, the city is served by Mansoura International Airport and is serviced by public transportation, giving residents easy access to the nearby cities of El-Galaa and Tanta.
Zahya New Mansoura has developed rapidly over the last decade and has become particularly known for its many universities and cultural attractions. The University of Mansoura and the New Canal University are both located within the city. The city is also known for its many parks, most notably Al-Qasr Park and Tiran Park.
