Zahya New Mansoura is an area in northeastern Egypt located in the Dakahlia Governorate. It is the most populous urban center in the governorate with an estimated population of 2,117,928 people in 2017. The city is known for its large number of universities, schools, and hospitals which serve the region. It is also the site of many historic mosques, tombs, and other monuments.
The economy of Zahya New Mansoura is largely based on agriculture, although some industry exists in the region as well. Many of the citizens are employed in the tourism or manufacturing industries. Additionally, the city is a major trading hub, with many shops and markets.
