Villette New Cairo is a planned residential and retail community located in Cairo, Egypt. The project was initiated by the government of Egypt in 2017 to create a new development outside of Downtown Cairo. The project will encompass over 3 million square meters and have a wide range of amenities for residents, including shopping, entertainment, education, healthcare, leisure, and restaurants. The residential areas will have homes available for rent or purchase, and the retail area will include international brands as well as local businesses. The project will also provide employment opportunities for local residents. Villette New Cairo is expected to be completed by 2023, with phases of the project opening earlier. The project is funded in part by the government of Egypt and private investors.
