Uptown Cairo Mokattam is a large master-planned residential and commercial development located in the Cairo Governorate of Egypt. The multi-billion dollar project is set to become a new urban center for what is currently one of the most densely populated regions in the world. Spanning over 5,000 acres of land, Uptown Cairo Mokattam will offer a variety of amenities including housing, retail, leisure and entertainment venues, educational institutions, and public spaces. The development is being carried out in partnership between the Egyptian government, Saudi Arabian investor Al Naseem SAG, and the Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Investment Company.

Phase One of the project is expected to involve the construction of 10,000 housing units across several neighborhoods. These homes will range from affordable to mid-market and luxury segments, with architecture drawing inspiration from both traditional and modern styles. Additionally, the development will include shopping malls, recreational areas, and a central square along with other necessary infrastructure.
