The City New Capital Egypt is a massive development project that aims to create a new administrative and financial hub for the country. Located about 45 kilometers east of Cairo, the project covers an area of 170,000 acres and is expected to cost around $45 billion.

The project was announced in 2015 by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who saw the need for a new capital city to alleviate the congestion and overpopulation in Cairo. The new city is being built from scratch and will have a population of around 6.5 million people.

The City New Capital Egypt is being developed by a consortium of Egyptian and Chinese companies, with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) as the main contractor. The project is divided into several phases, with the first phase expected to be completed by 2022.

The new city will have a modern and sustainable infrastructure, with green spaces, parks, and recreational areas. It will also have a state-of-the-art transportation system, including a high-speed train that will connect it to Cairo and other major cities in Egypt.

The City New Capital Egypt will also have a range of residential, commercial, and administrative buildings, including government offices, embassies, and international business centers.
