Terrace Sheikh Zayed is an ancient Egyptian archaeological site located in the city of Luxor in Upper Egypt. The site, which dates back to the Fifth Dynasty (ca. 2490-2350 BCE), is believed to have been built by Pharaoh Userkaf, founder of the Fifth Dynasty, as a funerary temple. The archaeological site contains a large number of tombs and temples, as well as numerous statues, stelae and burial chambers.

The most important building at Terrace Sheikh Zayed is the Temple of Userkaf, which is dedicated to the worship of the sun god Re and his consort Nut. This temple, which was built of mud-brick, is situated on a large terrace known as “Sheikh Zayed Jebel”. Other structures include a chapel that is dedicated to Re-Horakhty and a large open court with several altars and shrines.
