Talah New Capital is a new city being built in Egypt. Located approximately 25 kilometers (15 miles) east of Cairo, the city is part of the Egyptian government's plan to create a new administrative capital for the country.

The project was announced in March 2017, and is being developed by the Egyptian government in partnership with the China Fortune Land Development Company. The project is estimated to cost $45 billion and is expected to be completed by 2022.

The new city will have a total area of 700 square kilometers (270 square miles), making it one of the largest cities in the world. It will be designed to accommodate 7 million people and will include residential, commercial, and industrial areas. It will also feature a new airport, a technology park, a financial district, and a medical city.

The new city is intended to alleviate the population pressures on Cairo, which is currently the most populous city in Africa. The government hopes that the new city will provide a more efficient and modern infrastructure for businesses and citizens.

The project is expected to create 1.5 million jobs and attract investments of $150 billion over the next 10 years. It is also expected to contribute to the growth of the Egyptian economy, with GDP growth projected to be around 8% in the next five years.

The project has been met with some criticism, as some have argued that the government should focus on improving existing cities rather than building new ones. Additionally, some have expressed concerns about the environmental impact of the project.

Despite the criticism, the project is expected to move forward and is set to become a major hub for business and tourism in the region.
