Regarding its activities in Egypt, Sun Capital has made investments in the country's real estate and retail sectors. In 2018, the firm acquired 95% of the shares of Fawaz Alhokair Group's fashion retail business in Egypt, which operates several well-known brands such as Mango, Zara, and Aldo. Sun Capital has also developed the Sun Capital project, a residential and commercial development located on the outskirts of Cairo.
