Sodic East Shorouk City is a large, mixed-use development located in the East Shorouk area of Cairo, Egypt. The project is a joint venture between SODIC and the Industrial Development & Workers Bank of Egypt (IDWBE). It is located on a total area of 1,700 acres and is one of the largest integrated projects in the country. The project includes residential, commercial, and leisure components, and will feature a variety of amenities such as a golf course, a clubhouse, a shopping mall, a medical center, and a business district. Additionally, the project will include a number of green spaces and parks, as well as a network of pedestrian and cycling paths. Construction on the project began in 2012 and is expected to be completed in 2020.
