Sodic East Shorouk City is a planned residential and commercial community in East Cairo, Egypt. Located in the Shorouk district of Cairo governorate, the city is part of the East Cairo Development project, which was created to provide housing and commercial opportunities in the area.
The city is planned on an area of 1,500 acres (610 hectares) and will contain 6,000 residential units and a range of commercial spaces, including retail, medical clinics, restaurants, banks, and other facilities. The first phase of the project will include 2,250 housing units, a 25-acre (10-hectare) central park and 5 schools.
Sodic East Shorouk City is designed with sustainability in mind, using current green building standards and technologies to reduce energy and water consumption. An integrated water treatment system is also being implemented to ensure the safety of the drinking water.
The city will also have a number of green spaces, parks, and pathways, making it an attractive and comfortable place for residents. It will feature a variety of leisure and entertainment options, such as sports courts, swimming pools, shopping malls, cinemas, outdoor markets, and more.
