Shorouk City is a new city located in the Cairo Governorate in Egypt, approximately 25 kilometers east of Cairo. The city is part of the New Urban Communities Authority, which is a government agency responsible for developing new cities in Egypt. The city was founded in 2000, and was designed to be a modern, self-contained residential community, with all the necessary amenities and infrastructure.
