Scene 7 New Capital Egypt is a planned megacity development project located in Egypt's new administrative capital, east of Cairo. The project is being developed by the UAE-based Tatweer Misr, a Egyptians company owned by Emaar Properties. When completed, the city will occupy an area of 24,000 acres and will be able to accommodate about 5 million people. It will include a variety of business and residential areas surrounding a central business district, along with various residential and lifestyle amenities. There will also be a theme park, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and educational facilities, as well as an industrial zone, logistics hubs, and other infrastructure projects. Scene 7 New Capital Egypt is expected to create hundreds of thousands of jobs and provide economic growth opportunities for both citizens of Egypt and visitors alike. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
