Porto New Cairo is an upcoming large-scale planned city in Egypt, located 25 kilometers east of Cairo. The project was announced in 2013 and is expected to cover an area of 14,000 acres when completed. It is being developed through a joint venture between Emaar Properties PJSC, an international real estate developer based in Dubai and the Egyptian Armed Forces.
