Parklane New Capital Egypt is a large-scale urban development based in Egypt's new administrative capital city, 45 kilometers east of Cairo. The mixed-use development project covers an area of 5.6 million square meters along the Cairo-Suez Road. Parklane New Capital Egypt is designed as a self-sustaining community with residential, commercial, and recreational areas, making it one of the largest and most ambitious projects in the region.
The project is being developed by Parklane Properties, a joint venture of the Saudi-based developer Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company and the Egyptian company Raya Holding. Construction on the development began in 2019, and the first phase is expected to be completed by 2023. Once complete, Parklane New Capital Egypt will include high-end villas and townhouses, mid-range apartments, as well as retail, office, and institutional spaces.
In addition to creating its own infrastructure, the development is connected to existing public transportation networks, such as the Cairo Metro and the Suez Road. Parklane New Capital Egypt is also connected to the International Airport Cairo, which serves as the primary international airport for the Greater Cairo area.
