Obsidier Tower is a futuristic skyscraper under construction in the new administrative capital of Egypt. The tower is designed to be a landmark of modern architecture in Egypt, and will be the tallest tower in Africa upon completion.

With a height of 385 meters, the Obsidier Tower will contain 101 floors of offices, commercial spaces, luxury apartments, and a panoramic restaurant offering breathtaking views of the city. The building's façade will be made of anodized aluminum panels, which will give it a reflective and sleek appearance.

The Obsidier Tower’s design is inspired by the formation of a desert rose, a naturally occurring crystalline structure found in the deserts of Egypt. The tower’s shape mimics the geometric structure of desert rose, and its façade is meant to reflect light like the crystal.

The tower is being built on a plot of land located in the heart of the new administrative capital, at the intersection of four main roads. The location will provide easy access to major transport links and amenities of the capital city.

Obsidier Tower will be equipped with advanced engineering solutions and innovative technologies such as intelligent building management systems, high-speed elevators, and eco-friendly materials, making it a self-sufficient and energy-efficient building.

The project is led by Beijing General Engineering Design & Research Institute (BGEDI) Group, a Chinese engineering firm specialized in the design of high-rise buildings. The Egyptian government aims to attract foreign investment and boost the country's economy by building modern infrastructure and urban projects such as the Obsidier Tower.

Construction of the Obsidier Tower started in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2024. When completed, the tower will stand as a symbol of Egypt's commitment to modernization and development.
