The Nyoum Pyramids, also known as the Meidum-South Pyramids, are a group of ancient Egyptian funerary monuments located in the 6 October city in Egypt. The Nyoum Pyramids were not as successful as Sneferu's other pyramids, as they were poorly constructed and suffered from structural problems. Over time, the limestone used to build the pyramids began to decay, causing collapses and damage. The pyramids were eventually abandoned and forgotten until they were rediscovered in the early 20th century.
