New Maadi is a new urban development located in Egypt's Maadi Governorate, located in Cairo. It was designed to be an integrated residential community and one of the first master-planned cities developed in Egypt. It is identified as Zone 2, New Maadi Town, in the Greater Cairo Master Plan.
