New Giza is a new city in Egypt located on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road. It is situated on the western edge of the Nile Valley, approximately 18 km southwest of Cairo. New Giza is a planned city, designed to house up to one million people. It is a modern, vibrant city, with a range of housing options, shops, restaurants, and recreational facilities. The city is home to a number of universities and research centers, as well as many cultural and sports attractions. It is also home to a large industrial park, which includes a number of factories and warehouses. New Giza is also connected to the rest of Egypt by a major highway, as well as a railway line.
