Egypt's new administrative capital is taking shape with the latest addition, the Monorail Tower. The tower is one of the main features of the city's monorail, which is intended to ease traffic congestion in and around the capital. The monorail will run for around 55km, connecting the new city with Cairo at speeds of up to 80 km/h.

The Monorail Tower stands 50 meters high and will serve as a station stop for the monorail, at the center of the city. It was designed by the French architect Christoph Ingenu, and built by the Egyptian firm of Orascom Construction. The tower will offer a convenient connection to the rest of the city, as well as stunning views of the surrounding skyline.

The new administrative capital has seen significant development in recent years, with approximately 75% of the city's master plan completed. Once completed, the city will be home to approximately 6.5 million people and will serve as the administrative and financial hub of Egypt.

The city's infrastructure has been designed to be sustainable, with greenery throughout the city, solar power plants, and a water treatment plant. The city will also be home to several international universities and institutions, as well as a number of cultural and recreational facilities.

The monorail is seen as an essential part of the New Capital's infrastructure, with the capacity to transport 45,000 passengers per hour. The new transport system will also significantly reduce travel times and contribute to easing traffic congestion in Cairo.

The Monorail Tower is the latest addition to the city's skyline, adding to the impressive array of high-rise buildings, including the iconic National Cathedral and numerous government buildings, which are nearing completion.

Overall, the Monorail Tower and the New Capital city represent an ambitious vision for the future of Egypt. The city is set to become one of the most modern and sustainable cities in the world, with infrastructure and amenities that will be the envy of many other cities. With a growing population, Egypt needs these types of developments to ensure a better quality of life for its citizens and help drive its economy forward.
