La Vista City is a New Capital city that is being developed in Egypt. The project was announced in March 2019 and will be the first New Capital city built in Egypt since Cairo was established in 969 AD. The city will be located 45 kilometers (28 miles) east of Cairo and is expected to be completed by 2022.
The project is being funded by a consortium of investors from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The total cost of the project is estimated to be around $45 billion. The city is planned to cover an area of 700 square kilometers (270 sq mi) and will be home to 6.5 million people. It will be a modern, smart city with a range of amenities and services.
The city will be divided into five districts: a business district, a financial district, a residential district, a cultural district, and a leisure district. It will also feature a range of public services, including hospitals, schools, universities, parks, and sports facilities.
The city is being designed to be environmentally friendly, with a focus on renewable energy sources and green building practices. It will also feature a range of public transport options, including a metro system, buses, and trams.
The project is seen as an important step in Egypt's economic development, as it is expected to create up to 1.5 million jobs and attract foreign investment. It is also hoped that it will help to reduce overcrowding in Cairo and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
