La Verde New Capital is a new urban development located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt, created to meet the modern living and business needs of its residents. The development is composed of deliberately designed master-planned neighborhoods, offices, and an Innovation Hub. With an envisioned cost of US $10 billion, La Verde New Capital is set to be the largest real estate project in Egypt, covering an area of more than 10 million sqm.
La Verde is expected to become an iconic city in Egypt, due to its scale, innovation, sustainability, and technology. Residents of La Verde will enjoy spacious private residential units, commercial offices, recreational and educational spaces, high-end retail shops and restaurants, as well as various health and social amenities.
The development will utilize LEED and WELL standards, and incorporate green building initiatives such as energy efficient systems, rainwater harvesting, low-carbon construction materials, and green open spaces. Additionally, La Verde will feature a network of smart transportation options, ultra-fast mobile and fixed internet services, and one of the largest Community Engagement Programs in Egypt.
La Verde objective is to become a major employment and investment hub for both domestic and international investors. Upon completion, it is projected to create 50,000 permanent jobs within the services, technology and manufacturing sectors. The development is being co-developed by UAE-based Al Gosh Development Company and a local Egyptian firm, Maadi Investment Group.
Construction is expected to begin soon, and the project is scheduled to be completed over the course of 5 years. La Verde New Capital is poised to become a culturally rich and vibrant city a place where Egyptians can live, work and play.
