Khamael Sheikh Zayed is an Egyptian spiritual leader and author. He is the founder of the Zayed Sufi Order, a Sufi Tariqa based in Egypt. He is also the founder of the Zayed Center for Interfaith Dialogue, an organization dedicated to promoting understanding and cooperation between different religious and spiritual traditions.

Sheikh Zayed was born in the village of El-Fayoum in Egypt in 1954. He was raised in a traditional Sufi family and was educated in the Islamic sciences. He studied at Al-Azhar University in Cairo and then at the University of Damascus in Syria. After completing his studies, Sheikh Zayed returned to Egypt and began to teach Sufism and Islamic spirituality to a growing number of students.

In 1988, Sheikh Zayed founded the Zayed Sufi Order, a spiritual path based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the classical Sufi masters. The Order promotes a spiritual practice that is rooted in the Quran and Sunnah, but also incorporates elements from other religious traditions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism.

The Zayed Center for Interfaith Dialogue was founded in 1997 as a way to foster understanding and cooperation between different spiritual traditions. Sheikh Zayed has also written several books on Sufism, Islam, and spirituality, including The Sufi Way: A Path to Inner Peace and The Path of the Sufi: A Journey of Spiritual Awakening.

Sheikh Zayed is a highly respected spiritual leader and has been honored with numerous awards and accolades, including the King Faisal International Prize for Islamic Studies. He is an advocate for peace, understanding, and tolerance and has been an important figure in promoting interfaith dialogue in the Middle East.
