Kanyon Tower is a new skyscraper that is currently under construction in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. The tower is set to become one of the tallest buildings in Africa, standing at a height of 385 meters (1,263 feet) and comprising of 78 floors.
The Kanyon Tower is being developed by the Saudi Arabian company, Al Ahly Sabbour, and is expected to be completed by 2022. The tower is designed by the renowned architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), who have also designed some of the world's most iconic buildings, such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the One World Trade Center in New York City.
The Kanyon Tower will be a mixed-use development, with the lower floors being dedicated to retail and commercial spaces, while the upper floors will house luxury apartments and a hotel. The tower will also feature a sky deck, which will offer panoramic views of the New Capital and the surrounding areas.
The design of the Kanyon Tower is inspired by the natural landscape of Egypt, with the tower's shape resembling the Nile River and the surrounding desert. The tower's façade will be made of glass and steel, which will reflect the
