Joya 6 October is a planned residential compound located in Cairo, Egypt and currently under development by Italian-Egyptian engineering firm Agenzia ICE. The project is being built in the district of 6 October City and includes 1,000 luxury apartments, villas and townhouses.
The project was officially unveiled in October 2015, with groundbreaking of the construction taking place shortly thereafter. The project promises to provide an array of amenities, including a five-star hotel, a shopping mall, cinema, nightclubs, and a range of other services. In addition, Joya 6 October will feature a number of recreational areas, such as a jogging track, basketball court, tennis court, swimming pool, children’s playground, picnic area and a private beach club.
The project has been designed with sustainability in mind, with the developers aiming to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency. This is achieved through the use of LED lighting, solar panels and a range of other measures. The apartments are finished with high quality materials, from marble countertops and granite flooring to natural stone bathrooms and hardwood floors.
The apartment complex is expected to be completed by 2021.
