Jewar Sheikh Zayed is a new city that is currently under construction in Egypt. It is located near the city of Cairo, in the Giza Governorate, and is being built on an area of 168,000 acres. The city is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the former president of the United Arab Emirates, who was a close friend and ally of the Egyptian government.

The idea for Jewar Sheikh Zayed was first proposed by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in 2015. The aim was to create a modern, sustainable, and smart city that could accommodate the growing population of Egypt and offer new opportunities for investment, tourism, and job creation. The project is being developed by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), which is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing new cities in Egypt.

Jewar Sheikh Zayed is expected to be a fully integrated city that will include residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas. It will have a population of around 5 million people, making it one of the largest cities in Egypt. The city will be designed according to the latest standards of urban planning and architecture, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and technology. It will be a walkable city, with pedestrian-friendly streets, green spaces, and public transportation systems.
