Il Mondo New Capital Egypt is a large-scale real estate development in the Cairo region of Egypt. The project is being developed by Il Mondo Group, an Italian-based real estate development company. It will cover an area of more than 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres) and is expected to be the largest mixed-use development in Egypt. The development will include residential units, office buildings, retail areas, parks and green spaces, recreational facilities, healthcare centers, sports facilities, educational centers, and other amenities. The development will also feature a Financial Center, Business Park, and IT Zone. The development is designed to create an integrated community that will offer residents and businesses a variety of lifestyle options. The project is expected to create 10,000 jobs and draw an estimated 200,000 new residents to the area. Construction on Il Mondo New Capital Egypt is expected to begin in 2020.
