iCity 6 October is a new city located in the 6th of October Governorate of Egypt. The city is located on the western side of the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, approximately 30 kilometers from Cairo. It is part of the 6th of October Development and Investment Company (ODIC).

The city was officially inaugurated in February 2020 and is planned to be one of the largest cities in Egypt and the Middle East. It is expected to provide housing for up to 3 million people. The total area of the city is approximately 8,000 hectares, of which 2,000 hectares are currently developed.

The city is designed to be a modern, livable city, with a focus on providing a high quality of life for its residents. It is planned to include a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial areas, as well as educational, medical, and recreational facilities. The city is also planned to feature a variety of green spaces, parks, and gardens.

The city is expected to create more than 200,000 jobs, and is expected to attract more than $3 billion in investments. It is also expected to be a major hub for technology, finance, and tourism.

The city is also planned to be connected to Cairo by a new highway and metro line. The highway and metro line are expected to be completed by 2022.

The city is being developed by the 6th of October Development and Investment Company, which is a joint venture between the Egyptian government, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and the Dubai Investment Group. The project is expected to cost more than $15 billion.
