Ever 6 October is a town located in the Giza Governorate of Egypt. It is situated on the western shore of the Nile River. The town is home to a population of roughly 300,000 people, making it one of the largest settlements of the area. Ever 6 October was founded in 1882 by the British as a military garrison and was named after the date of the Battle of Tel el-Kebir, which took place in 1882 in the same area.

Ever 6 October is now a bustling modern town with many amenities and facilities. There are markets, restaurants, cafes, shops, and other retail outlets. The town also has a number of educational establishments, including American University in Cairo's satellite campus. Ever 6 October is also home to a large industrial zone that is home to many factories and businesses in the area.

The town is also known for its connection to the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. On January 28th, 2011, thousands of people from Ever 6 October took to the streets to join in the protests against the government of Hosni Mubarak. The demonstrations in the town were part of the larger uprising throughout the country that ultimately led to Mubarak’s ousting.
