El Ain El Sokhna is a bay located on the east coast of Egypt, on the Gulf of Suez. The bay is located within the Governorate of Suez and is close to the resort town of Ain Sokhna. It is a popular tourist destination for both locals and international travellers, with numerous resorts, restaurants, hotels and spas being located within the bay. The area is also popular for its fishing and its many coral reefs, making it an ideal spot for snorkelling and diving. The waters around the bay are known for their rich sea life and many water sports can be enjoyed here. There are several marinas located around the bay allowing visitors to hire boats and jet skis, and explore the nearby islands. El Ain El Sokhna is also home to some unspoiled beaches and numerous archaeological sites, including the historic port of Berenice.
