Dyar Al Tameer is a 6 October city in Egypt. It is located near the famous Pyramids of Giza and is home to around 1.5 million people. The name Dyar Al Tameer means “the Town of Reconstruction” and it was built to replace the previous settlement of Damanhour in 1970.

Since its establishment, the town has attracted a large number of professionals from Cairo and other cities in the country which has led to an increase in job opportunities and economic prosperity. There are now more than 200 schools and universities located in the city, making it one of the most educationally advanced towns in Egypt.

In 2001, the government of Egypt made Dyar Al Tameer a free trade zone in order to attract foreign investment. This has resulted in the establishment of numerous industries, with some of the biggest employers being automotive companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai. The city is also home to the prestigious Egyptian International Project Development Corporation.

The city’s infrastructure is well developed, with a modern highway connecting it to the rest of 6 October City and suburban train lines providing transportation to and from Cairo. There are also several retail shopping centers offering goods from around the world, along with an array of dining and entertainment venues.
