Double Two Tower is a new development in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. The tower is a joint venture between two Egyptian companies, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD). The tower is set to be one of the tallest buildings in the New Capital, standing at 385 meters tall. It will be a mixed-use development, with residential, commercial, and office spaces.
The tower will have 90 floors, with the first 20 floors dedicated to commercial and office spaces. The remaining floors will be for residential use, with a total of 1,100 apartments. The tower will also have a five-star hotel with 250 rooms, a shopping mall, and a cinema complex. The tower will have a total built-up area of 250,000 square meters.
The Double Two Tower is designed by the renowned architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). SOM has designed some of the world's most iconic buildings, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the One World Trade Center in New York City. The tower's design is inspired by the shape of the Nile River, with a curved facade that mimics the river's flow.
