The Central Iconic Tower is a new landmark in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. The tower is a 385-meter-tall skyscraper that will be the tallest building in Africa upon completion. It is a part of the government's plan to develop the New Capital as a modern and sustainable city.
The tower is designed by the renowned architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), which has designed some of the world's most iconic buildings, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the One World Trade Center in New York.
The Central Iconic Tower will have 78 floors and will be a mixed-use building, with offices, hotels, and residential units. The tower will also have a public observation deck on the top floor, offering panoramic views of the New Capital and the surrounding areas.
The tower's design is inspired by the lotus flower, which is a symbol of rebirth and regeneration in Egyptian culture. The tower's shape resembles a lotus flower, with its petals opening up towards the sky. The tower's façade will be made of glass and steel, and it will be illuminated at night, creating a stunning visual effect.
