Capital Heights New Capital Egypt is a city located in the South Cairo Governorate of Egypt. It is a new capital city, designed to be the administrative and commercial hub of the country. The project was announced by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi during his visit to the Great Pyramids in January 2018.

The city is still under construction and is expected to be completed by 2022. It will span an area of 700 square kilometers, making it the largest city in the world. It is planned to have 6 residential districts, 22 economic zones, a financial district, a government district, and several universities.

Capital Heights New Capital Egypt is expected to serve as a financial and economic center for Egypt and the Middle East. The government aims to make it a leader in urban innovation, green development, and technology. It will use renewable energy sources for power, and its buildings will meet the highest standards of energy efficiency. In addition, it is planned to have a light rail transit system, a smart transportation network, and a waste management system.

The project has faced some criticism, as construction costs are estimated to be up to $45 billion, most of which came from private investments. However, the government argues that
