Located just off the Cairo-Suez highway, Capital Gardens Mostakbal City is a new urban development project in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. The project is set to become one of the world’s first sustainable cities.

Capital Gardens Mostakbal City aims to be a model of sustainable living and green life, with the majority of its 4,000 homes built using eco-friendly materials. The project will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and will use recycled graywater to irrigate landscaped areas. It will also feature wide pedestrianized walkways spanning over 1.5 million square meters, making up nearly half of the development.

The project will also offer its residents a variety of public amenities, including a range of educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail outlets and entertainment venues. An integrated transportation network will make sure that residents are connected to other parts of the city.

Capital Gardens Mostakbal City is expected to be completed in 2020, and when it is finished, it will serve as an example of how smart and sustainable cities can be created in the Middle East. The project is seen as an important step forward in the region's drive to become an even more sustainable society.
