BO Island is located off the North Coast of Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a small, uninhabited island, with a total area of just 0.3 km² (0.12 sq mi). It is part of the Ras Muhammad National Park, and is a popular destination for divers, due to its numerous coral reefs and abundant marine life. The island is also home to a variety of seabirds, such as the Audouin's Gull, the Mediterranean Gull, the European Shag, and the White-eyed Gull. BO Island is a protected area, and is not open to the public.
