Bleu Vert New Capital Egypt is a major development project in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. It was announced in 2019 and is set to become one of the largest regional projects in the Middle East. The project is being developed by a consortium of three Tiba Investment and Development (TID), Emaar Misr, and Bleu Vert Holding.
The overall development is divided into two phases. The first phase consists of four projects: a central business district with office buildings and retail facilities; a tower complex; an area dedicated to leisure activities such as entertainment, casinos, and a shopping mall; and a residential area. The second phase will include further development of the business district and residential areas.
In terms of infrastructure, Bleu Vert New Capital Egypt is connected to Cairo through a bridge which crosses the River Nile. The project also includes a light railway network, three metro lines, and a pedestrian walkway. Construction on the project began in December 2019 and is expected to be completed by 2023.
When complete, Bleu Vert New Capital Egypt is expected to provide economic benefits to the country and its citizens by creating jobs and improving tourism. It is also intended to promote the expansion of
