Badya 6 October is a city in the Giza Governorate of Egypt, located on the western bank of the Nile River. It is part of the Greater Cairo metropolitan area and is located approximately 25 kilometers southwest of downtown Cairo.

The city was founded in the late 1960s as a satellite town of Cairo, primarily to provide housing for workers in the industrial and agricultural sectors. It is now home to a population of over 140,000 people, making it one of the largest cities in the Giza Governorate.
