Azha North is a coastal town in Egypt located along the Nile Delta. It is situated in the El-Sharqia Governorate, and is bordered by Abu Suwayr to the west, Lake Manzala to the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. The town was established in 1945, and its population is estimated to be around 11,000.
Azha North is known for its Mediterranean climate, which attracts thousands of tourists each year. The town has a number of attractive beaches, as well as historical sites like the Battle of Pelusium which took place during the 7th century BC. Cultural activities are popular in the area, most notably the moulid of Yusuf ibn Qa’id, an Islamic saint celebrated every August with performances, parades, and feasts.
Azha North is also home to many businesses, including fishing and fish processing, olive oil production, and agriculture. The town's economy relies heavily on tourism though, as it attracts visitors from all over the world. Azha North has a growing nightlife scene, with bars, restaurants, and local nightclubs catering to a diverse range of tastes.
