Alma Sheikh Zayed Egypt is a large compound located in Giza, Egypt. It was built by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as a symbol of his appreciation for the people of Egypt. The compound encompasses 32 hectares of land and consists of four residential villas, a Mosque, a commercial center, and more than 17,000 square meters of green areas.
The main attraction of the compound is the Grand Mosque, which is constructed from marble and decorated with intricate carvings of traditional Islamic art. The building also has two minarets, which reach up to 95 feet in height. The interior of the mosque includes several elegant prayer halls, a dome and four courtyards.
The commercial center in Alma Sheikh Zayed Egypt contains a variety of retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. This area is designed to provide a place for locals and visitors to enjoy shopping, dining and leisure time.
Aside from the commercial and residential buildings, the compound also has a research and development center. Here, students from around the world are welcomed to participate in ongoing projects aimed at understanding and developing new technologies.
